  1. Swans, both Tundra and Trumpeter, are late migrants, and they are being seen now on open water in the Calgary area. Tundra Swans will be around until mid-November and Trumpeters until late November, provided there is still open water around. Occasionally a few will overwinter on the river.

  2. We live in New Brighton and saw a pair of swan on our pond today(October 29th 2012). First time we have seen them here. Shouldn’t they be migrating?
