Beautiful pictures. We just saw a whole large flock of bohemian waxwings enjoying the mountain ash berries and crabapples in our garden in north west Calgary.
The Chickadee above is a Chestnut-backed Chickadee. Could I get the date and exact location where the bird was photographed, please. Some people have previously thought they have seen this species in the Park but weren’t sure.
The consensus seems to be that this is a Boreal Chickadee, not Chestnut-backed. Still waiting for photographic proof of Chestnut-backed in the city. I think they are out there!
