Our outing last week went right into the face of a sudden snow-storm. One of the many that we’re prone to here in Southern Alberta, as a northern Arctic weather front collided with a warmer front from the west. The heavy wet snow and the wind kept the birds pretty quiet for the most part last week, and so there really weren’t too many opportunities for photos. I’ll make up for that on Wednesday with some photos from an outing taken this weekend at Brown-Lowery Provincial Park, but for now, here’s an example of what we were trudging through last weekend!
Good birding this week, and let’s all hope the weather improves by the weekend!
